The Zohra Comparison Service

Our primary service, the Zohra Comparison Service, is an information platform designed to help consumers make informed decisions when exploring or purchasing electricity plans from third-party vendors featured on our Website.

What We Do Not Do

Zohra does not provide personalized advice or recommendations on whether you should purchase specific electricity products and services. We do not guarantee that our Comparison Service will identify the ‘best’ or ‘cheapest’ offer available. Your decision to choose an electricity plan should be based on your own research and judgment, taking into account your individual circumstances.

We emphasize that Zohra is an independent company and is not owned or controlled by any third-party vendors whose products and services are showcased through our Comparison Service.

Acceptance of the Terms

Your use of the Zohra Comparison Service is governed by these terms and conditions (Terms). Please carefully read and understand these Terms. By using, browsing, and/or reading the Website, you indicate that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you must discontinue the use of the Website and the Zohra Comparison Service immediately.

Zohra reserves the right to review and modify these Terms at its discretion. Notice of updates will be provided whenever possible. Continued use of the Website after such changes implies acceptance of the modified Terms.

Scope of the Comparison Service

Zohra has established commercial agreements and may receive fees or commissions from electricity vendors when you click on a link to a vendor. The presentation of product rankings on the Zohra service remains unbiased and unaltered by commercial arrangements.

The Zohra Comparison Service provides factual information about publicly available retail electricity plans within Australia’s National Electricity Market. Note that consumers in NT and WA, at the time of publication, are not connected to this market. While Zohra strives to include all relevant products, coverage may not be exhaustive, and availability depends on your location and meter type.

The information presented on the Zohra Comparison Service is general and does not consider individual objectives or needs. Zohra does not endorse any specific product, service, or electricity vendor. Clicking through to an electricity vendor’s site implies direct interaction with the vendor, not Zohra.

Disclaimer on Estimates and Plans

Zohra’s Comparison Service may offer estimates of potential savings based on various factors:

– Client Data provided, including historical electricity usage, preferences, and account creation information.
– Algorithms and general usage profiles for electricity service customers.
– Data from third-party sources.

While Zohra exercises reasonable care in collecting and displaying information, reliance on data from third-party electricity vendors is essential. Despite our efforts to include all retail electricity offers, complete coverage is not guaranteed. Some plans may not be publicly advertised or widely available.

You are responsible for assessing whether an electricity plan is suitable for your circumstances. Factors such as early termination fees from your current retailer or failure to meet new vendor contract terms may impact anticipated savings. Before accepting an offer and switching vendors, carefully read relevant terms and conditions, offer documentation, and Plan I.D. energy fact sheets provided by each electricity vendor.

Zohra does not involve itself in disputes between users and electricity vendors.

General Disclaimer

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes guarantees, warranties, representations, or conditions implied or imposed by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited.

To the extent permitted by law:

– Terms not expressly stated are excluded.
– Zohra is not liable for special, indirect, or consequential loss or damage, loss of profit or opportunity, or damage to goodwill arising from the Zohra Comparison Service or these Terms, unless due to a failure to meet an applicable Consumer Guarantee.

Use of the Website and the Zohra Comparison Service is at your own risk. Content on the Website is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranty or condition. Zohra’s affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contributors, and licensors make no express or implied representation or warranty regarding

the Website content or electricity plans/offers.

Limitation of Liability

Zohra’s total liability arising from the Website, the Zohra Comparison Service, and these Terms, however arising, is limited to the resupply of the Zohra Comparison Service.

Links to Third-Party Sites

The Website may contain links to other websites for convenience. Zohra assumes no responsibility for the content, maintenance, or privacy compliance of linked sites. Inclusion of a link does not imply Zohra’s endorsement or sponsorship of the linked site or its information/products.

Zohra relies on information from third-party vendors and takes no responsibility for the accuracy, currency, or reliability of such information. Users are advised to conduct their own investigations before relying on information retrieved from external sites.

This consent aligns with the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (if applicable).

General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Zohra and the user regarding the Zohra Comparison Service and Website use.

All prior representations and understandings, whether written or oral, are excluded.

Users must comply with policies and procedures published by Zohra on the Website or otherwise provided.

The acceptance of these Terms is complete and without exception. Client-altered Terms are not binding on Zohra.

Zohra’s failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not waive that right or provision.
